by Mark Ayers I glance at her, and my thoughts say
I wonder if she’s home out here, at play Home outside in the great wide world I wonder if she might give me a twirl I’d spin her around I know I could But, I wonder if it, would do any good Any good in the world, Yes that’s the question Is it love’s spark I feel, or just indigestion A pit gets large, in my stomach you see It’s a pity I’m my own worst enemy So I shut myself down, shut down all the way It’s so sad, I thought I had more to say.
